The Herdsman's House is situated on Geiselittle Farm on the outskirts of Thurso - a working farm with beef cattle and sheep owned by our family who have farmed in this area for 3 generations. Having owned the farm next door since the 1950's, we recently bought Geiselittle Farm and renovated the historic farmhouse to provide luxury holiday accommodation.  

This holiday house is ideal for family get-togethers and your dog is welcome too. We accept up to 3 well-behaved dogs. Please refer to our Pets Policy before booking 

With views of undisturbed farmland looking out towards the town of Thurso and the beautiful banks of the winding river Thurso as it heads towards the coast, the house offers a peaceful rural getaway, whilst only being 2 miles from all the amenities of the town, situated just off the A9, the main road leading to the North. The Herdsman's House is a beautiful spacious 5 bedroomed farm house surrounded by farmland with a private walled garden to the front.  There are 4 king size bedrooms, and a triple room with 3 single beds ideal for children.  There are 4 bathrooms throughout the house, a large new kitchen with dining area which opens on to a sitting area with feature stove.  There is a dining area to seat 12, and a cosy lounge with log burner.  Upstairs there is a games room with pool table, and outside there is an outside dining area and a hot tub within the established private garden.
